What is Hollow Section Steel Pipe?

The hollow section steel pipe is the general name of the steel pipe with other section shapes except the circular pipe. It includes non-circular cross-section profile, equilateral wall thickness, variable wall thickness, variable diameter and variable wall thickness along the length direction, symmetrical and asymmetric section, etc. such as square, rectangular, conical, trapezoidal, spiral, etc. The special-shaped steel pipe can adapt to the particularity of the use conditions, save metal and improve the labor productivity of parts manufacturing. Cold drawing, welding, extrusion and hot rolling are the methods of producing special-shaped tubes.
