| Applications: Vinyl acetate is the main raw material for manufacturing synthetic fiber vinylon. By self polymerization or copolymerization with other monomers, copolymers are formed and widely used as binders, building coatings, textile sizing and finishing agents, paper reinforcement agents, and in the manufacturing of safety glass. Vinyl acetate reacts with ethanol and bromine to produce bromoacetaldehyde diethyl acetal, which is an intermediate of the drug methylimidazole. |
